Raksha Bandhan: Bonds of Pure Love & Bliss An ancient ritual of tying thread knots (Bandhan) to Safeguard (Raksha) the person and his/her endeavors. It has multi folded in our Indian civilization in variety of ways. During war times women used to tie knot on the wrist of their husbands to come back with triumph and victory.  Later on Sister wishing for the well being of her brother and in turn brother take care of her in all means. Even in temple today priest ties colorful threads to our wrist that are meant for safeguarding us from outside evil forces. We have diverse beliefs about raksha bandhan in different cultures and traditions. Above all what is this Raksha Bandhan??? What is the Bond we are having with this Universe?? To whom we all are Bonded to?? Who is safeguarding us or the entire Universe?? Truly speaking in terms of spirituality, the reality of the spirit. Aahh..... after a long time...!!! What is the Happiness we all are looking for ? What we actually need ? And there are many questions which rings our mind throughout a life time. From getting up from the bed in the morning to going back for sleep at night, we are full of emotions, we are full of thoughts, we are full of feelings and We are full of life. We are always in a hurry to accomplish something better than what we had already.  And in this,day to day struggle we forget our true nature. What we are actually. At the end of the day we all say, we are running behind happiness, prosperity and security (in all respects e.g. social, financial, job, relationships etc). I express my warm wishes to every Indian on the occasion of  India’s 66th  Independence Day. I remember the day, last year when I came to AIT ......for the first time outside my home land and was invited for the flag hoisting ceremony by Indian Association. I felt deep gratitude to all those people who were involved in organising such auspicious event.  Flag hoisting that too in a foreign country builds a sense of belongingness among us. A belongingness which blossoms from the depth of hearts to bring the consciousness of being one. It’s not just making a flag to fly but to ponder ourselves about the reason behind this independence we are enjoying today. It is a reason to think does this freedom really makes any sense in our daily lives. It is a reason to consider our freedom at the stake of losing it. It is a day to realize the importance of several sacrifices done for making this day. It’s a day when India has freed herself from the shackles of British rulers...

Many a people try to lose their lives but they don't realize the purpose of this life, They keep trying to free themselves from this world,but they even don't know, some magical force is acting on them and they won't be success in their attempts... This force some may spell as "GOD", some say "Its fate or sheer luck" ,while some religion makes a comment "Karma" and spiritual scholars says it as " until your job is not done,you can't escape". Lord has assigned a task to every individual and one has to accomplish this in his lifetime.... Why we humans are forgetting our purpose,our existence, how easy to kill oneself,how easy to betray the beloved one's .. poor parents who put their complete efforts to take care of each and every need of their child from birth to their death..Every parent has almost same expectations from their children,they want to witness the happiness on their child's face and want to see the 3rd gene...
