Raksha Bandhan: Bonds of Pure Love & Bliss An ancient ritual of tying thread knots (Bandhan) to Safeguard (Raksha) the person and his/her endeavors. It has multi folded in our Indian civilization in variety of ways. During war times women used to tie knot on the wrist of their husbands to come back with triumph and victory.  Later on Sister wishing for the well being of her brother and in turn brother take care of her in all means.
